Most buyers benefit from viewing a property twice, though this is down to personal preference.
Why view twice?
First viewing – You’re seeing the property for the first time, taking it all in, and often feeling excited. You’re forming initial impressions and getting a general sense of the space.
Second viewing – You’re more familiar with the layout and can view it more critically. This is when you notice details you might have missed, check specific features, and properly visualise where your furniture would go and how you’d use the space.
The second viewing allows for a more informed decision without the initial excitement clouding judgement.
That said…
Some buyers are happy to view once and make an offer, particularly in competitive markets where properties move quickly. It’s entirely your choice based on how confident you feel.
